#Project365: December Dullness

We had lovely weather this past December. Clouds hung over us most days, and often drooled profusely. Thus I was trapped to taking photos inside the house. As much as I appreciate still life, I feel at odds posting them online, as I’m sure few other than sketch artists like them. Oh well. However, I did capture a few critters one way or another.

Sometimes movies open with a slow pan of an eclectic display of seemingly random objects. Well, sometimes I like to mock my work space.

Not quite winter. Sometimes the Amur honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii) leaves hang on with as much determination as those on the pines.

Themed self portraiture, though unfortunately through a dirtier mirror than I thought. Also, points for the previous sentence for using three commonly misspelled or misused words together: though, through and thought. I just missed thorough.

Photo 365: The elusive eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) in its natural napping spot–because that red bellied woodpecker I almost had before I had to clear out of traffic was overrated.
